Student Ministry

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

It is our goal to offer exciting opportunities for growth and ministry for children and youth. Age-based groups provide a great environment for learning of God’s will for their lives. All programs are supported by caring adults who offer time and guidance to insure the best possible experience. Programs are designed to lead them to Christ and to help each to grow in their walk with the Lord and to be an example to others that is pleasing to God.

Sunday School. Classes are provided for students from birth to college/career. Structured study topics, provided through the Southern Baptist Association, provide real and interesting lesson materials that are bible-based and applicable in today’s world.

Youth. Students in grades 7th – 12th comprise our growing Youth Department. This group enjoys special times of Bible study and fellowship. Mission trips, church-sponsored camps and weekend retreats are all part of extra activities. Music is an important part of the Youth Department. The Praise Band leads in musical worship including songs from popular Christian bands. Projection of the words to the songs allows everyone to join in. During high school football season, 5th Quarters after home games offer a means of fellowship within the group and outreach to other students in our community. Often FFBC Youth join with other church youth groups to sponsor these events.

Wednesday Nights.  The youth meet in the Youth Room for Worship with the Praise Band and Bro. Brad. Periodically, special programs are presented or the Youth participate in an outreach activity during this time.
